Overview
As the enterprise CMDB and data governance leader, you define and drive MUFG’s ServiceNow CMDB strategy and data integrity. You will shape data models, governance, and integration patterns to support regulatory compliance and operational resilience. You’ll collaborate with senior technology and risk stakeholders to ensure trusted governance across applications, infrastructure, cloud, and assets. Responsibilities
- Define and maintain regional and EMEA CMDB strategy, roadmap and operating model
- Lead scalable CMDB data models aligned to ServiceNow best practices and CSDM
- Set architectural standards for business services, applications, infrastructure, cloud, and service mapping
- Ensure CMDB capabilities support End of Life, Operational Resilience, regulatory compliance and risk management
- Drive service-centric architecture through service modelling and dependency mapping
- Define enterprise technology data architecture and canonical data models
- Establish governance for configuration and technology data, including metadat a frameworks
- Chair governance forums on inventory data ownership and accountability
- Oversee CMDB onboarding and integration of new technologies and cloud services
- Develop executive reporting on service health, data quality, and configuration governance
- Partner with Business, Architecture, Asset Management, Infrastructure, Cloud, Cyber and Risk teams
- Lead remediation activities for audit findings and technology control weaknesses
- Support data lineage, ownership, and accountability across services, apps, assets, and infrastructure
- Deliver insights on technology estate complexity, risk exposure, and lifecycle management
- Ensure data quality standards, KPIs, KRIs and remediation processes
- Support regulatory commitments and management reporting for resilience and risk
Key requirements
- Significant experience leading CMDB or ServiceNow data architecture in a large enterprise
- Experience in regulated industries (Banking/Financial Services/Insurance/Telecom)
- Proven track record delivering large-scale CMDB transformation and CSDM adoption
- Experience implementing governance frameworks for enterprise technology data
- Strong understanding of application, infrastructure, cloud and service architecture domains
- Experience managing complex, globally distributed stakeholder environments
- Demonstrable experience supporting internal and external audits
- Leadership in enterprise governance, cross-functional transformation, and executive stakeholder engagement
- ServiceNow expert knowledge: CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, CSDM, IT Asset Management
- Knowledge of TBM, BIAN, TBM Executive Foundation, ITIL, TOGAF
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management
- Strong leadership presence with executive influence
