- Communicate quality assurance results effectively to stakeholders, gather feedback, and integrate insights into ongoing process improvements.
- Draft and maintain detailed QA test scripts, workflows, procedures, and other governing documentation to support consistent application of controls.
- Review QA outcomes provided by the QA team for accuracy and challenge any findings that do not align with established policy or best practice.
- Design actionable plans based on QA results to address identified gaps or areas for enhancement within operational processes.
- Ensure timely delivery of transaction samples for both auditor (Deloitte) testing and SOX compliance reviews while maintaining clear communication with relevant teams regarding remediation actions.
- Draft and update SOX test scripts, workflows, procedures, and related documentation to support regulatory compliance requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the First Line of Defence Team to conduct control testing, assist in identifying control gaps or process weaknesses, and support root-cause analysis initiatives.
- Support Trade Finance management in upholding a strong risk governance framework by contributing to risk assessments and RCSAs (Risk Control Self Assessments).
- Promote standardisation, automation opportunities, and best practices within Trade Finance Operations while supporting training initiatives aimed at enhancing quality awareness across the team.
What you bring
- Demonstrated experience in trade finance operations or similar roles within a banking environment where you have been responsible for quality assurance or audit-related activities.

- Experience working collaboratively across multiple departments—such as Risk Management, Compliance or Internal Audit—to deliver shared objectives while building positive relationships regionally or globally.
- A track record of supporting training initiatives or awareness campaigns designed to improve quality discipline within operational teams is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with drafting or maintaining test scripts (QA/SOX), workflows or procedural documents would be advantageous for this position.
