Roles, Scope and Reporting Structure

Reporting to: EMEA Co‐Heads of Structured Solutions.

Main Purpose of the Role

Accountability for the Structured Solutions – Europe (SSE) department within the Structured Solutions Business Unit (ST) and MUS (EMEA).

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning, strategy development and execution for Structured Solutions – Europe.
  • Ensure day‐to‐day activities align with departmental business strategy, meeting or exceeding financial and non‐financial targets.
  • Lead, direct and manage staff to understand responsibilities, comply with policies and conduct themselves in line with firm values.
  • Manage and monitor departmental and book risks, ensuring adherence to risk limits set by Risk Management and the Risk Management Committee.
  • Adhere to the Trader Charter and conduct business in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with sales, trading, research and control/infrastructure teams globally.
  • Contribute to budget management and work with broader GM, GCIB and JCIB teams to develop business globally.
  • Price new transactions accurately, incorporating market‐leading pricing and hedging methodology.
  • Manage market, credit, operational and other risks within firm risk appetite, using monitoring tools and models.
  • Escalate issues identified, including risk, regulatory and operational concerns.
  • Protect and enhance the firm's reputation.
  • Lead franchise development, delivering client‐focused, sustainable and profitable business.

Primary Product Domain: Infrastructure Financing

Responsible for developing, promoting and expanding Structured Solutions product offerings in infrastructure financing, including single‐asset or portfolio‐based projects.

Skills and Experience

  • Extensive deal experience in origination, structuring and execution of infrastructure financing transactions.
  • Detailed experience with a broad range of underlying asset classes within infrastructure financing (e.g., infrastructure NAV or single asset).
  • Experience in analysis and execution of financing transactions, including sponsor equity stake analysis.
  • Ability to present and discuss infrastructure financing transactions with external clients, leveraging client relationships to originate new opportunities.
