What you'll do:

  • Lead the successful delivery of payments and transaction banking technology initiatives from inception through implementation.
  • Orchestrate complex system integrations across multiple platforms, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as SEPA Instant regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, infrastructure specialists, security experts, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Consolidate progress updates from various sources and proactively identify risks or dependencies early on.
  • Co-own the technology portion of overall project plans alongside Project Managers.
  • Drive technical design development by collaborating closely with Tech Leads, architects, platform owners, and infrastructure specialists.
  • Oversee software development lifecycle activities including development, testing, release management, and environment preparation.
  • Provide up-to-date information on releases, environments, designs, and testing status to Project Managers.
  • Lead test environment preparation activities such as data masking, access provisioning, and connectivity setup.
  • Act as the single point of contact for all technical matters related to assigned projects.
  • Prepare technical evidence required for audits and governance gates.
  • Ensure operational resilience by connecting operational readiness processes with secure-by-design principles.
  • Monitor vendor task execution quality daily while managing offshore/onshore teams.

  • Substantial experience leading technology solution deliveries within complex financial services settings.
  • Hands-on involvement in both software development lifecycles (Agile/Waterfall) and large-scale system integrations.
  • A thorough grasp of regulatory requirements impacting payment technologies.

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Analytical approach to identify potential risks early on.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Technical Delivery Manager or Software Solution Delivery Lead.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end operations for Payments & Transaction Banking.
  • Expertise in application development using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
