Overview

In this role you will shape and maintain MUFG's Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework, ensuring regulatory alignment across UK, EU, US and APAC.

You will work with cross-functional teams to advance governance, reporting, and policy development, driving continuous improvement in risk management.

You will engage senior stakeholders and lead change initiatives that strengthen compliance and resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and review the TPRM framework to meet regulatory and internal standards across multiple jurisdictions
  • Coordinate TPRM reporting, including KPI metrics, risk appetite, committee decks, and board submissions
  • Manage the RCSA, Issues & Actions, and control testing to uphold governance
  • Develop TPRM metrics and thresholds for tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers for effective monitoring
  • Author and manage TPRM policy documents and related standards
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc, including horizon scanning
  • Lead TPRM change initiatives in collaboration with Procurement, SMEs and other departments
  • Provide consultative guidance on best practices and communicate TPRM knowledge across the business
  • Key requirements
  • Extensive experience in managing third party risks within large financial institutions or regulated sectors
  • Deep knowledge of TPRM frameworks and practical application in financial services
  • Experience with regulatory requirements (UK/EU/US/APAC) and translating them into actionable policies
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management across multiple functions
