MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- Supporting the origination and the execution of securitisation transactions within the Esoteric sector vertical.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the origination and execution of Securitised Products for the bank's clients, with a specific focus on Esoteric transactions.
- Support and/or lead the execution of securitisation transaction renewals, amendments and waivers within the Esoteric Sector.
- Analyse and produce structural risk memoranda and reports, review legal documentation, perform cash flow modelling, undertake due diligence on transactions and manage client relationships.
- Liaise with clients at a counterpart level to relay specific information and respond to routine queries ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Maintain and develop knowledge base of regulatory issues relating to securitisation and developments in the securitisation market.
- Build relationships throughout MUFG to establish a peer network, gather relevant information and help to ensure effective inter-departmental collaboration.
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Degree Level.
- Track record of working on securitisation transactions in EMEA in a structuring/execution capacity.
- Experience of securitisation, structured finance or working capital finance, in either a bank, rating agency or advisor capacity.
- Legal, accounting or credit background desirable.
- Complex problem-solving skills.
- Commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Interpersonal and networking skills and the ability to work in a diverse team environment.
- Excellent knowledge and skill working with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in any European languages desirable but not essential.
PERFORMANCE AND DUTIES
The role holder will be assessed in accordance with their employing entity’s performance framework and process with relevant input obtained from the dual hatting entity as relevant. As duties and responsibilities change, the job description will be reviewed and amended in consultation with the role holder.
MANAGING CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
The role holder will have responsibilities for both MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc. The role holder will be required to perform their duties and responsibilities on an entity neutral basis, without favour.
