MUFG is seeking a HR Service Centre Vice President to join the London office, reporting directly to the Global Head of AskHR. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape and lead a high‑performing team within a globally respected financial institution, renowned for its commitment to excellence, integrity, and innovation. As the HR Service Centre Vice President you will drive operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and best‑in‑class service delivery across all HR functions, fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture.
What you’ll do
- Lead, manage, and develop the HR Service Centre team of three to five Analysts, ensuring proficient service delivery to client groups across the organisation.
- Provide oversight, guidance, and escalation support for employee relations matters throughout the employee lifecycle handled by the wider team.
- Champion HR risk management by partnering with 1st and 2nd line of Defence teams to identify risks, strengthen controls, and deliver mitigating actions.
- Support the Global Head of AskHR in overseeing controls execution, reporting risk events accurately to senior management, and liaising with Risk and Internal Audit.
- Oversee enhancements resulting from internal or external audit findings while ensuring AskHR tier 1 delivery meets regulatory requirements.
- Manage HR vendor relationships by partnering with Procurement to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Drive outsourcing and Third‑Party Risk Management processes within HR in collaboration with the Global HR Central Services team.
- Support enterprise‑wide HR projects by facilitating change requirements from a risk controls perspective, including process improvements and Workday integration.
- Coach your team on new or changed processes and protocols, ensuring legislative changes are captured and addressed effectively.
- Prepare and analyse KPI information, reports, and bulletins for senior leadership stakeholders while identifying trends in operational HR data.
What you bring
- A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a relevant field—or equivalent work experience—demonstrates your foundational knowledge.
- Extensive experience managing teams within shared service environments in Financial Services or other regulated sectors highlights your dependability.
- Broad understanding of HR practices and employment legislation ensures you can navigate complex regulatory landscapes with sensitivity.
- Experience managing transactional HR services using CRM/ticketing systems such as Workday Help or Service Now showcases your technical proficiency.

- Proven ability to oversee transactional HR operational activity within defined processes demonstrates your attention to detail.
