The department covers Cyber Security, Information Security, IT Audit, IT Risks, IT Controls, Access Management, Security Operation, Threat Management and the portfolio for change for all these areas. Report to Head of HO Liaison and Threat Management also same as Global Head of MUFG Threat Intelligence Centre (MTIC).
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Centre of Excellence Business Manager will play a critical role in overseeing initiatives within MUFG's Threat Intelligence Center (MTIC), ensuring alignment with strategic planning objectives. This individual will be responsible for the end-to-end management of key projects that enhance MUFG's global cyber threat intelligence capabilities. The role demands strong project management expertise, a solid understanding of cybersecurity operations, and the ability to coordinate effectively across global teams in Tokyo, London, New York, Singapore, and India.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the end-to-end management of MTIC projects, ensuring alignment with MUFG's global cybersecurity strategy.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage accounting, financial operations, and budget forecasting of MTIC, ensuring cost optimization and alignment with MTIC strategic objectives.
- Facilitate the communication and coordinate with global stakeholders across regions (Japan, EMEA, Americas, APAC, India) to align requirements and deliverables.
- Track project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Drive standardization of threat intelligence protocols, tools, and governance across regions.
- Collaborate with technology, compliance, and risk management teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and legal requirements in each jurisdiction.
- Host and facilitate global cadence meetings (e.g., biweekly meeting), including preparing agendas, sending meeting invites, distributing materials, and ensuring effective follow-ups.
- Promote and manage recurring global meetings, accounting for time zone differences and regional public holidays to negotiate suitable time frames that maximize participation.
- Create and deliver visually effective high-quality reports for senior managers and executives.
- Provide clear and timely reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders on project status, risks, and dependencies.
- Work with MTIC Engineering Lead to coordinate with global stakeholders to proceed study and implementation on Security Mesh Architecture.
- Foster collaboration across global teams, promoting a 24/5 Follow-the-Sun operating model for MTIC.
- Support other tasks where necessary under the Vulnerability Governance; some travel may be required.
