EDUCATION

  • Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science

CERTIFICATIONS

  • Certified SAFe Practitioner, Scrum Master, PMP, PMI-ACP or similar certifications preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Experience managing SDLC projects
  • Strong experience within a technology organization in the financial services industry
  • Must be hands-on with project documentation for planning, test approach, and log, and proactive in closing open items
  • Understanding of MSP ticketing and alert management systems
  • Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals and the SDLC

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

  • Experience tracking projects and tasks through Jira/Confluence
  • Experience with Agile, waterfall, hybrid, and other delivery methodologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint), Project, Visio, and SharePoint

RESPONSIBILITIES

High Level Responsibilities:

  • Participate in developing each phase of the project management process including developing project plans, justifications, roles, responsibilities and reporting procedures.
  • Analyze client requirements and organizational working processes to generate ERP configuration specifications.
  • Provide guidance and expertise on IT processes, tools, technologies, and service improvement programs.
  • Schedule and organize project meetings; participate in project tracking, analysis, and reporting.
  • Set up and configure ERP modules and integrate them within the organizational platform.
  • Record and develop solutions for complex technology, processes and integration issues, for clients.
  • Coordinate and report on the progress made on projects and accomplishments made with clients.
  • Conduct data mapping processes and import processes into ERP modules and the overall platform.
  • Lead a team in providing day-to-day technical, project and process support and expertise for internal and external clients.
  • Provide technical and analytical support to project team members.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviewing project deliverables.
  • Perform ERP software quality and performance reviews; deliver application training sessions to clients.
  • Manage relationships with clients; keep the consulting and leadership team abreast of client needs.

Details:

  • Provide hands-on technology project management and documentation to support large technology projects with multiple moving parts and a large group of stakeholders.
  • Drive planning at the various organizational levels to ensure projects are on track/resourced.
  • Establish project governance and communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensure timetable and deliverable schedules are understood and communicated.
  • Manage dependencies proactively, coordinate across teams to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
  • Contribute to executive level updates on strategy, budget, project delivery, controls, risks, etc.
  • Organize required reporting for business and technology management review sessions.
  • Track financials related to technology expenditures including software, hardware, and resource allocation.
