MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The KYC MI & Book of Work team, part of the Client KYC Group (CKG) within MUFG Bank's Corporate and Investment Banking Division, supports MUFG Bank London and MUFG Securities. The role involves supporting the CKG Head of MI & Book of Work in building and managing a KYC Management Information Centre of Excellence, including planning and executing related activities. The individual will be a key SME for KYC MI & Reporting, supporting team governance, procedure updates, risk and issue reporting, and project updates for forums.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Producing, designing, implementing, and supporting key KYC MI reports for stakeholders and senior management
- Supporting daily MI production and ensuring timely publication
- Maintaining and publishing MI reports and presentations for analysis and management forums
- Creating and developing MI reports, including ad-hoc analysis
- Identifying Data Quality Issues and driving data remediation strategies
- Improving customer experience processes
- Engaging stakeholders and resolving dependencies
- Building strong relationships across teams
- Developing controls and metrics for data quality monitoring
- Supporting decision-making with data analysis
- Participating in strategic projects to enhance MI reporting capabilities
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a MI team, preferably with KYC data, with a focus on Data Quality
- Experience in Front Office (1LoD) environment, working with data analysts
- Experience within Corporate & Investment Banking, Capital Markets, or Securities
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (Power BI, Power Query, VBA)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication at all levels
- Knowledge of investment banking products, MI platforms like Power BI, and SQL is beneficial
