Key Responsibilities

Incident Management: take ownership of network‑related incidents, troubleshoot from first alert to resolution, liaise with users and internal teams, coordinate with vendors.

Administration: maintain and create comprehensive network data diagrams and documentation.

Project Support: conduct project activities to specific timelines and deliver network data project tasks and objectives.

Team Duties: assist with support and maintenance of all NSS duties including data, security and infrastructure; cover support and project delivery during shift patterns (early shift 7:00 am to 6 pm, weekends, bank holidays as required).

Skills & Experience

  • Good understanding of ISO layers, IP addressing and subnetting
  • System operation and maintenance: Layer 3 Path Control, IPv4 redistribution, EIGRP based solutions, OSPF based solutions, BGP based solutions, Layer 2 switching
  • Experience with Cisco NX‑OS, IOS, ACI, ISE, Meraki
  • VLANs, high availability, multicast
  • Firewalls: Palo Alto, CheckPoint, Cisco ASA
  • F5 BigIP, Tetration
  • Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting multi‑protocol system networks
  • Managing Cisco routing and switching, network security

Shift Pattern

  • Normal office hours Monday – Friday
  • Participation in 2‑in‑6 shift pattern covering support and project delivery
  • Early shift starts at 7:00 am; late shift covers until 6:00 pm
  • Occasional bank holiday working as per business requirements
  • Weekend working as per business requirements
