Main Purpose of the Role
Lead and coordinate the renewal and amendments of the securitised products portfolio. Manage any amendments/waivers on existing securitisation facilities in collaboration with the structuring lead. Manage junior deal team members and provide general support to the SP Portfolio Management team. Support team members with public ABS transaction execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the renewals of all existing securitisation facilities across FI, corporate, and esoteric sector verticals.
- Serve as liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, credit, legal, origination, structuring lead, and operations.
- Lead the annual review of transaction ratings and prepare credit papers.
- Manage restructuring, amendments, and waivers on existing facilities, negotiating with stakeholders and preparing credit memos and documentation.
- Coordinate with SP & SCF Management on external market information, asset-class analysis, and macro-portfolio management.
- Attend industry conferences, access external data sources, and provide research and asset-class reports to SP Management and credit.
- Support team members with public ABS transaction execution (as required).
Personal Requirements
- Degree level education or equivalent experience.
- Solid track record of working on securitisation transactions in EMEA in a structuring/execution capacity or in a securitisation credit function.
- Experience across a broad range of asset classes, including trade receivables, RMBS, auto, consumer, and esoteric.
- Background in securitisation, structured finance or working-capital finance.
- Credit, legal or accounting background desirable.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, interpersonal and networking skills.
- Ability to work in a diverse team environment.
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
