Responsibilities
- Shape credit management strategy across high‑impact sectors, mentor a team of credit professionals and exercise delegated approval authority up to USD75million.
- Collaborate with relationship managers and origination teams to provide expert input on deal structuring and risk assessment.
- Drive strategic initiatives that enhance portfolio quality while ensuring compliance with internal risk policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Oversee a portfolio of credit accounts, providing advice and direction to maintain high‑quality analysis and decision‑making.
- Identify and mitigate risks, model effective risk partnerships, challenge existing practices and embrace positive change.
- Represent the credit division at internal forums regionally and globally, influencing decisions and sharing insights.
Qualifications
- Extensive hands‑on experience managing leveraged finance portfolios in EMEA within leading financial institutions or investment banks.
- Track record of exercising significant delegated credit approval authority on large transactions while maintaining strict adherence to policies.
- Exceptional analytical skills, high‑quality report writing and sound decision‑making under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to mentor junior colleagues and engage credibly with senior stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of TMT and Consumer & Healthcare industry dynamics and financial structures.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for ongoing learning of new sectors, countries and frameworks.
