We are recruiting for a Relationship Manager to join our team in MUFG Corporate Markets supporting Share Plans or possibly Share Plans and Share Registration. The dedicated RM team provides a single point of contact for each client. As an RM, you will be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring the highest standards of service and customer care, analysing your portfolio and identifying divisional sales opportunities. The role is based on a hybrid basis from either our central London office or our city centre office in Leeds.

Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in the Share Plans industry; other relevant Financial Services/Employee Benefits experience advantageous
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to remain diplomatic and tactful
- Energy, resilience and a customer‑focused attitude with experience in a client/customer‑facing role and excellent commercial awareness
- Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines while remaining flexible
- Critical and commercial thinking to solve complex problems and achieve solutions
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Salesforce knowledge advantageous
- Good stakeholder management skills and ability to build, develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, clients and colleagues
- Great attention to detail and a conscientious, thorough and accurate approach to work
- Ability to undertake client focused and financial analysis to help achieve growth targets and sales opportunities
- Professional and friendly manner with good problem‑solving skills and teamwork ability
Day to Day:
- Increase revenue through analysis of clients, identifying and promoting cross‑selling opportunities and new MUFG Pension & Market Services products and services
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships with clients and associated third parties (lawyers, brokers, auditors)
- Proactively manage client relationships within the share plans world, ensuring agreements are renewed
- Work across the business to monitor and uphold service provision in line with governance framework and service levels
- Engage with clients in the roll‑out of MUFG Pension & Market Services initiatives
- Contribute to identification and implementation of operations, procedural and cost‑saving efficiencies and processes
- Support the Business Development and Marketing Teams using contacts to drive switch business and support case studies, industry surveys and client events
- Support the development and coaching of Client Service Managers/Assistant Relationship Managers
- Adhere to regulatory requirements (Anti‑Money Laundering, Customer Due Diligence oversight)
- Represent and contribute to industry‑related events (Proshare, GEO)
- Take responsibility for negotiation and billing of clients, ensuring accurate charging and collection of overdue invoices
