Overview: The Share Register Analyst will join the Share Register Analysis Team. The Team provide high quality ownership reports to over 700 listed companies in Europe and the UK and the Share Register Analyst will be responsible for the high quality, timely delivery of analysis reports for a portfolio of clients.

The role is based on a hybrid basis from our stunning central London office, therefore you will need to be within a commutable distance to ensure you can be there each week.

This role would be an exciting role for someone just out of university, or with 1 – 2 years business experience. But it would also be a great role for someone with several years’ experience as a Share Register Analyst.

What you need:

As with any role, we want to find the right person and we want to make sure you know it’s the right role for you too. You will need:

  • An interest in finance, data and analytics
  • Great attention to detail, with good Excel and Word skills
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to plan and organise your workload, juggling tasks as priorities change and managing your time effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders
  • The drive, desire and pro-activeness to learn quickly and do a great job
  • Excellent, supportive team player skills, with the ability to consider team priorities as well as your own
  • Enthusiasm, conscientiousness and a passion to do a great job

Day to Day, you will:

  • Liaise with third parties to ensure the timely and accurate receipt of required ownership data
  • Review the quality of the data the Team receive, processing and analysing it using our proprietary software
  • Review market announcements, trading volumes and specific analysis-related intelligence
  • Compile reports for clients, including writing the required commentary
  • Answer queries relating to the analysis you have provided to your clients and ensuring any additional client queries are responded to quickly and accurately
  • Assist with the on-boarding of clients’ historical analyses
  • Assist with the review of team processes on a regular basis, suggesting possible improvements
  • Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of SRA reports
