The Administrator, Transfer Team, will be based on a hybrid basis from our city centre office in Leeds. This means you’ll need to be within a commutable distance of the office to enable you to be in each week with the team. You will assist in the administration of SIP Transfers, supporting the wider SIP Transfers and Custody Team with any other associated tasks when required. You will liaise with brokers to arrange trade/settle the movement of stock and complete stock withdrawals, in addition to dealing with transfer outs from Share Incentive Plans (SIPs). What you need:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal colleagues, external clients and SIP participants to create and develop strong, positive and engaging work relationships
  • An ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines within a supportive team
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all situations
  • An understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and an ability to learn new systems
  • Self-understanding with the drive and desire to improve your own core skills and knowledge
  • An engaging, supportive individual, with drive and desire to do a good job and support the team as and when required

  • Financial Services experience would be advantageous

Day to Day, you will:

  • Take responsibility for the execution of transfer requests for the Share Plans we administer, ensuring you adhere to departmental procedures, HMRC, Stock Exchange and FCA guidelines and Trustee rules
  • Escalate any client money related issues immediately so that relevant action may be taken to stop or resolve a breach
  • Professionally deal with both telephone and email enquiries, requests and complaints from SIP participants, internal colleagues and clients, whilst adhering to internal procedures and ensuring calls referred by the CSC are responded to within 48 hours
  • Ensure cash differences are highlighted by regular bank account reconciliations, stock differences and <8>
  • Apply CASS understanding to the work processed with the required spreadsheets being completed and producing accurate monthly and ad-hoc reports for clients
  • File updated sales, transfers and purchase paperwork and ensure they are archived
