Overview

The Administration Team Leader will be based on a hybrid basis from our city centre office in Leeds. This means you’ll need to live within a commutable distance to enable you to be in the office with your colleagues each week. You will be based within our Operational Administration Team, focusing on Asset Reunification, providing supervisory oversight and guidance for teams carrying out services for clients and their shareholders.

What you need

  • Team Leader/supervisory experience, or a willingness to step up into a role leading a team
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Demonstrable customer service experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues
  • Experience coaching, leading, developing and supporting a team
  • Experience within the stocks and shares industry would be advantageous
  • To consistently demonstrate integrity, professionalism and respect with colleagues, clients and customers
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and a ‘right first time’ approach for you and your team
  • Outstanding time management skills, showcasing flexibility and the ability to manage various processes independently
  • Integrity, professionalism and respect, along with strong problem-solving capability and the ability to resolve complex issues whilst serving as a point of escalation for others within the wider team.

Day to Day, you will

  • Support the Asset Reunification processing and general administration work involved, working closely with other business areas to provide the very highest level of client-branded customer service
  • Ensure the team carry out their respective daily functions in order to meet deadlines, deliver and maintain a high quality, accurate and outstanding customer service at all times
  • Oversee the general administration work of the team on a day-to-day basis, providing hands‑on assistance and technical guidance where necessary
  • Work with the senior management team to plan, monitor and coordinate workflow, ensuring work is processed in a timely and efficient manner and taking remedial action where required in order to maintain internal and external imposed SLA’s at all times
  • Ensure full compliance with internal external procedures and FCA regulations, including CASS and MiFID II rules
  • Maintain regular quality control reviews with your team, recommending areas for improvement and showing a willingness to work with stakeholders to ensure enhancements are fulfilled
  • Monitor complaints, incident reports and other MU and key controls to ensure that the integrity of MUFG Pension.
