Due to exceptional demand and growth within the Development team, we are seeking a full-stack .NET Developer to work out of our Toronto office on an exciting new project. You will be comfortable working in a dynamic DevOps/Agile environment and be experienced with AWS.

The position requires you to collaborate on requirements, produce appropriate software designs, generate development tasks, and work with the team to implement the solution.

Reporting to a Development Team Lead, you will additionally work closely with Product Owners, Architecture, QA, and Release Management.

You Will:

• Understand and contribute to technical solutions from design through to code level
• Ensure ongoing assistance for the application to continue without impacting business
• Provide insight and direction to the evolution of the application from a technology perspective
• Provide regular and effective progress updates to, and work closely with, the Product Owner and Scrum Manager to ensure the management of any delivery risks or issues
• Assist with systems strategies and progression of any allocated objectives
• Take responsibility for making key decisions to ensure the successful implementation of all initiatives

You Have:

• 4+ years of hands-on overall development experience
• Architecting, developing, and shipping scalable systems on AWS in an agile environment
• Exemplary C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET/Entity Framework skillset
• Experience in both architecture and implementation-level software design
• Experience with JIRA and a familiarity with Continuous Integration
• Experience with source control fundamentals, GIT preferable
• Performed roles that require you to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Willingness to learn new programming languages and technologies
