We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer (DevOps) to join our team and play a key role in building and maintaining our cloud-native platform infrastructure on AWS. You will be responsible for designing, automating, and optimizing our AWS-based platform using Terraform, Kubernetes, and scripting. You will ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and optimized to meet the demands of a fast-paced financial services environment. Collaborating with software and data engineering, security, and product teams, you will define and execute a strategic vision for platform engineering while driving operational excellence and innovation.

You Will:

  • Infrastructure & Automation: Design, implement and manage AWS infrastructure; Deploy, scale and maintain Kubernetes clusters; Automate infrastructure and operations to improve efficiency.
  • Performance & Reliability: Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability; Monitor and analyze AWS resources to proactively resolve issues; Improve observability; Work with development and security teams to enhance platform resilience and security posture; Collaborate with application developers to build CI/CD pipelines and workflows; Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards in the financial industry.

Qualifications You Have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, or cloud architecture roles. Proven expertise in designing and managing AWS cloud-native architectures. Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries will be considered an advantage.
  • Technical skills: Infrastructure as code: Hands-on experience with Terraform; Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; CI/CD & Automation: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines; Cloud architecture: Understanding of cloud best practices for highly available, elastic, and scalable solutions; AWS Services: Proficiency with IAM, Lambda, S3 and other core AWS services; Scripting experience: Python or similar; Ability to work cross-functionally with development and security teams; Ability to drive change.
