Job Description
Summary : We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our Reporting & Analytics Division. This role is critical to support business to help taking care of clients’ reporting needs and to support CFO and executive leadership by delivering comprehensive financial insights and actionable analytics. The ideal candidate will have an extensive experience in the financial services industry, with deep understanding of investment management, fund accounting, private equity / hedge fund operations and financial analytics.
This role will oversee the design, implementation and management of the firm’s data reporting framework, ensuring the delivery of accurate, insightful and timely analytics to support strategic decision making.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the Reporting and Analytics Division
- Lead and manage a high performing team of data analysts and reporting professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency and timelines of all reporting, meeting both internal & external requirements
- Provide detailed financial analysis, insights on profitability including variance analysis, scenario modelling and forecasting.
- Experience of working on various investment reporting systems like Geneva, Investran etc. and generating investment analytics including portfolio performance, exposure and liquidity
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in financial reporting and analytics
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Oversee the development of tech led platforms for preparation and delivery of financial and operational reports, including dashboards, KPIs and performance metrics
- Promote a data driven culture across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
- Advanced degree (MBA, master’s in finance or data Analysis) or relevant certifications (CFA, CPA) strongly preferred
- 10+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on investment management, private equity / Hedge funds
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a reporting, financial planning or analytics role
- Strong financial modelling and advanced analytical skills
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau) and advanced Excel
- Familiarity with programming languages or tools like SQL, Python or R is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audience
Ability to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment
