Director, IT, Head of Reporting & Analytics

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the Reporting and Analytics Division.
• Lead and manage a high performing team of data analysts and reporting professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency and timelines of all reporting, meeting both internal & external requirements.
• Provide detailed financial analysis, insights on profitability including variance analysis, scenario modelling and forecasting.
• Experience of working on various investment reporting systems like Geneva, Investran etc. and generating investment analytics including portfolio performance, exposure and liquidity.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in financial reporting and analytics.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee the development of tech led platforms for preparation and delivery of financial and operational reports, including dashboards, KPIs and performance metrics.
• Promote a data driven culture across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA, master’s in finance or data Analysis) or relevant certifications (CFA, CPA) strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on investment management, private equity / Hedge funds.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a reporting, financial planning or analytics role.
• Strong financial modelling and advanced analytical skills.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau) and advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with programming languages or tools like SQL, Python or R is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment.
