MUFG is seeking a Compliance Technology Analyst at Assistant Vice President level to join their London‑based Financial Crime team. The role requires:
- Advanced SQL skills for writing complex queries or stored procedures
- Familiarity with MongoDB (NoSQL) databases
- Experience using SSIS for data transformation workflows
- Practical knowledge of Apache Kafka for real‑time data streaming architectures
- Exposure to containerisation/orchestration tools like Kubernetes for cloud deployments
- Hands‑on usage of GitHub (or similar platforms) for version control management including branching strategies and release management best practices
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks utilising JIRA/Confluence for project tracking/documentation purposes
- Exposure to AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch along with practical experience deploying models into production environments
- Understanding model lifecycle management/monitoring processes
- Previous involvement with transaction monitoring systems (e.g., Actimise), sanction screening tools (e.g., Fircosoft), communication surveillance or market/trade surveillance platforms would be highly beneficial but not essential
Excellent communication skills enabling effective collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups; ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences. A proactive approach combined with strong organisational skills allowing you to manage large workloads under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
