What you'll do:
As a Loan Participation Analyst at MUFG in London, you will immerse yourself in the full spectrum of issuer services operations. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless processing of bond issuances from inception through every lifecycle event. You will be responsible for maintaining rigorous standards in data analysis, reporting, vault maintenance, payment processing, and regulatory compliance. - Oversee the administration and safekeeping of Global Bonds as Common Depository, ensuring all processes are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
- Process new issue closings efficiently by coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders such as issuers, lead managers, lawyers, and International Central Securities Depositories (ICSDs).
- Produce detailed periodical reports in line with agreed timelines to ensure transparency and compliance across all activities within Issuer Services.
- Maintain vault records meticulously to guarantee security and accuracy in all documentation related to bond issuance and safekeeping.
- Compile evidence promptly when requested by the SI team to support audits or regulatory reviews.
- Assist with new issue programme management for Euro Bond issues as Bond Agency representative, including transaction management up to signing and closing stages.
- Ensure safe settlement of funds as Principal Paying Agent by monitoring payment flows and reconciling accounts with precision.
- Calculate interest rates for Floating Rate Notes (FRN) bonds as Calculation Agent using advanced Excel functions such as Vlookup, Pivot Tables, and Graphs.
- Liaise with Euroclear and external dealers as Issuing Agent to set up ISINs for new bonds efficiently and accurately.
- Supervise team members by coordinating query management, conducting 1-2-1 meetings alongside the line manager, managing diaries, checking payments, releasing funds, and fostering a supportive team environment.
