OVERVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT/SECTION

Within GCIB (Global Corporate & Investment Banking), ESFO (European Structured Finance Office) offers comprehensive advisory and debt arrangement for the non-recourse and limited recourse financing of long-term, capital intensive projects. Our specialist teams focus on a range of sectors, including power & renewables, infrastructure, natural resources and housing finance. Within ESFO: the Financial Advisory team ("GCIB Financial Advisory") spans all sectors and aims to structure the most competitive and deliverable funding solution for our client base, evaluating all available funding sources in the market. These funding sources include commercial or multilateral banks, ECAs, institutional investors, private placements or public bond finance or a combination thereof. The team also provides credit ratings advisory services. The Energy and Infrastructure teams have responsibility for the delivery and execution of the financing product in their respective sectors.
