What To Expect

Our 18 month Analyst Programme starts with a comprehensive training programme designed to develop a sound understanding of our product lines, our clients and our business strategies. Equipped with newfound knowledge, you’ll start with the desk where you’ll experience what it’s like to work within Japanese Corporate Banking and gain hands-on work experience.

Your role within the team will be to actively support relationship managers to manage a portfolio of corporate clients and drive business growth with appropriate instruction, guidance and support provided, which includes:

  • Prepare business proposals/materials, potentially attend client meetings with relationship managers
  • Support to perform regular credit analysis including creating credit applications, borrower ratings, collecting information to monitor credit portfolio
  • Support to handle operations while complying with internal procedures
  • Coordinate with relevant divisions (e.g. Operations, Markets, Transaction Banking division, Credit division, etc.) to respond to client’s request, join internal meetings with them
