The primary purpose of the role is to assist with the onboarding and offboarding of Agent Bank relationships, and to support all aspects of relationship management. This includes issue oversight, escalation handling, fee reviews, due diligence processes, and providing ad hoc support to senior management. The role is relationship‑focused and requires substantial analytical work, ongoing monitoring, and involvement in change initiatives to help ensure MUFG maximises the value of its external relationships.

  • Coordinate documentation for new relationships, including legal agreements and account‑opening materials.
  • Proactively manage incoming queries, ensuring all issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist in the creation, maintenance and production of Network Management MIS.
  • Develop a strong understanding of process flows to identify workflow improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Support regulatory and change initiatives, including projects such as ISO 20022 and T+1.
  • Assist with the day‑to‑day management of the cash and custody invoicing and recharging processes.
  • Build strong relationships across MUFG to develop a peer network, gather relevant information, and support effective inter‑departmental collaboration.
  • Ensure adherence to global standards for information storage, governance, and dissemination.
  • Support the onboarding of new banking accounts onto MUFG systems.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in Network Management or a similar role is essential.
  • Strong understanding of front‑to‑back transaction flows within an operational context.
  • Experience in other operational functions – such as Settlements, Collateral Management, Trade Support, or Operations Project Management – would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Experience managing Cash and Custody relationships.
  • Knowledge of Derivatives clearing would be advantageous.
  • Prior experience within a top‑tier broker‑dealer is preferable but not essential.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to independently manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (intermediate level or above).
  • Knowledge of Power BI and other Microsoft Power Platform tools would be beneficial.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.

  • Confident in representing the firm when engaging with external counterparts.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
