Job Description – Statutory Inspector (Industrial / Offshore / Energy Sector)
We are looking for a qualified Statutory Inspector to join our inspection team.
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out statutory inspections of plant, equipment, and systems to ensure safe operation and adherence to applicable regulations and industry standards. You will play a key role in verifying the condition and integrity of critical equipment across industrial, offshore, or energy environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out statutory inspections of lifting equipment, pressure systems, and industrial plant
- Perform thorough examinations, testing, and certification of equipment
- Identify defects, non-conformities, and safety risks, and report findings
- Issue inspection reports, certificates, and technical documentation
- Assess equipment condition and recommend repairs or corrective actions
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and maintenance teams regarding inspection results
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections and certifications
- Ensure all work is performed in line with HSE procedures and safety regulations
- Keep up to date with relevant standards and best practices
