Mudwalls (Food Group) are a growing consolidator / distributor, relating to the supply of Fine Food and Drink, including Mudwalls Fresh Produce, to the independent Retail / Foodservice sectors. All the products we supply are consolidated and distributed from our purpose built Distribution Centre in Redditch, Worcestershire. This ensures that all the Fine Food and Drink we supply meets the strict Mudwalls (Food Group) standards. Due to continued growth, Mudwalls (Food Group) are recruiting for a new Junior Commercial Manager to join our existing team.
The Junior Commercial Manager will have some account management responsibility and category management responsibility (specifically Fresh Produce), whilst overseeing and coordinating the processing of customer sales orders, via our respective sources (i.e. retail customer, e-commerce customer) via various order capture methods (EDI, email, telesales, etc), and grower/supplier purchase orders.
Responsibilities- Assist with account management and Fresh Produce category management.
- Oversee and coordinate processing of customer sales orders via various sources (EDI, email, telesales) and grower/supplier purchase orders.
- Read and interpret order capture methods and ensure timely processing and accuracy.
- Contribute to commercial processes relating to sourcing, purchase & supply of goods / products / services.
- Assist in producing weekly sales reports for all customers.
- Deal with and respond to customer queries, requests and complaints.
- Communicate with suppliers in conjunction with Service Level Agreements to maximise customer availability.
- Support Business Development with customer-related requirements.
- Own transport and full UK Driving License.
- Based full time at our Worcestershire Head Office.
- Hold the required standard of English language and literacy in relation to the role.
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently, using own initiative.
- Highly numerate with strong diligence / attention to detail.
- Completion and recording of all company documentation as required.
- Flexibility to perform any other reasonable duties as requested.
- Punctual and self-motivated.
- Full time contract; Monday to Friday, with flexibility aligned to business requirements.
