We're now looking for an experienced and qualified Room Leader to work as part of the leadership team, within our nursery. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress from a Deputy Room Leader role or similar level within an early years setting.

About the role

As a Room Leader at Muddy Boots, you will help to lead a team to ensure that all children receive high-quality, nature-based learning experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence and independence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Early Years Educators in your room, with support from the Deputy Room Leader
  • Planning and delivering engaging learning activities, with a strong focus on outdoor play and exploration
  • Observing, assessing and supporting children’s individual learning journeys
  • Acting as a key person and building strong, trusting relationships with families
  • Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
  • Working collaboratively as part of a positive, supportive team
  • Taking responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in your care
