We are looking for the next generation of ambitious PR professionals who would like to join us and work with top brands, delivering creative communications campaigns for positive impact. To thrive at Muckle Media, you’ll enjoy a challenge and have fire in your belly. You’ll be a creative problem solver, who stops at nothing to deliver results, but all while being kind, building great relationships and leaving the world in a better place.

This role will provide support to the teams working mainly in hospitality, food and drinks, but wider client accounts may feature in the mix. Joining a close-knit team, you’ll be equally happy rolling your sleeves up and making great things happen for our clients and the agency, whilst also working closely with colleagues to share ideas and deliver work together. You’ll have excellent levels of attention to detail and not be afraid to challenge the status quo to deliver results.

This is a 12 month traineeship initially, with the option to apply for a permanent role at the end based on performance and business needs. Our hybrid flexible working policy allows you to work where you want, with a mix of home working and access to our office hubs in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Forres and Inverness. We anticipate this role being 2-3 days per week in our Edinburgh office to give you the best opportunity to learn from colleagues, but we’re open to candidates who require less office contact time.

Key timings:

  • Closing date midnight Monday 23rd March (but we’ll assess applications as we receive them and may close early)
  • Tuesday 24th March - shortlisted candidates contacted and invited to complete short online assessment with 24 hour deadline/turnaround
  • By Friday 27th March - candidates shortlisted from online stage will receive invitation to in-person assessment centre
  • Monday 30th March - assessment centre in Edinburgh (please advise at application stage if you will be unable to attend this and we can look at potential alternative options)
