The Sports, Education and Charities team is an exciting and dynamic team which supports a broad range of clients regionally and nationally across all three sectors. The nationally recognised team works on a broad and varied range of matters, from day‑to‑day legal advice through to a range of strategically important projects including mergers, collaborations and restructures.

We are looking for a solicitor who has experience of advising a range of education organisations including some or all of the following:

  • Academy conversion projects
  • Merger and re‑brokerage projects
  • Good working knowledge of the structures of educational establishments ranging from schools to multi‑academy trusts and further and higher education institutions
  • Experience and good working knowledge of SEND issues, exclusions and admissions, SEND tribunals, safeguarding and complaints handling
  • Excellent people and client management skills

Qualifications: More than 5 years PQE in the education sector and a proven track record delivering high‑quality client service. A proactive, team‑player who can integrate into a busy, active team, who is open to business development and willing to take responsibility for providing solutions for a wide range of clients in the sector.
