- Proactively spot trends, anomalies, and growth levers; frame them in commercial terms (revenue, margin, CAC/LTV) and recommend next steps.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand data needs and translate them into scalable, self-serve solutions.
- Run regular insight sessions – present dashboard walk-throughs and regular business reviews to leadership, translating numbers into clear actions.
- Champion data-driven decision-making and nurture a data culture—running ad-hoc training or office hours as required.
Requirements

- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports using Metabase, Looker, or similar BI tools.
- Comfortable working with modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar) and collaborating with data engineers.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce or marketplace KPIs, customer cohorts, funnel analysis, marketing performance metrics (e.g., ROAS, CAC, LTV), and operational metrics.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams—distilling complex data into actionable insight and clear visualisations.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and excited to shape a data culture from the ground up.
- A personal passion for adventure travel, sustainability, or impact-led businesses.
- 38 days holiday per year (inclusive of public holidays) - to be used when you like
