You’ll work alongside our Data Engineer and partner closely with our CFO, COO, and Head of Performance Marketing to build out the core dashboards, reporting capabilities, and analytical foundations that will guide commercial and operational decisions across the business. Key responsibilities Own the end-to-end BI function – design, build, iterate, and evangelise dashboards and self-serve reporting (Metabase, Looker) that the wider business relies on daily. Conduct in-depth analysis on customer behavior, marketing performance, supply dynamics, and pricing to uncover opportunities for growth and efficiency. Proactively spot trends, anomalies, and growth levers; frame them in commercial terms (revenue, margin, CAC/LTV) and recommend next steps. Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand data needs and translate them into scalable, self-serve solutions. Run regular insight sessions – present dashboard walk-throughs and regular business reviews to leadership, translating numbers into clear actions. Champion data-driven decision-making and nurture a data culture—running ad-hoc training or office hours as required. Requirements At least 3-5 years’ experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics roles—ideally in high-growth B2C or marketplace businesses. Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports using Metabase, Looker, or similar BI tools. Comfortable working with modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar) and collaborating with data engineers. Strong understanding of e-commerce or marketplace KPIs, customer cohorts, funnel analysis, marketing performance metrics (e.g., ROAS, CAC, LTV), and operational metrics. Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams—distilling complex data into actionable insight and clear visualisations. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and excited to shape a data culture from the ground up. What does the typical interview process look like? Our hiring process is fully remote, and all interviews are done online. Every application is carefully read by a real member of the team (no AI screening here). Stage 1: Initial application and automated screening Q&A Stage 2: A ‘get to know each other’ interview, to find out more about your experience and see if we’re a good fit. (approx 30–45 mins) Stage 3: A project assignment, plus preparation for a short presentation to be given in the interview. Stage 4: In-depth interview where we review your assignment, listen to your presentation, with two members of the MBA team. (Approx 60–90 mins) Job ‘Need to Know’ details: Preferred Start Date: ASAP Salary Range: £45-60k, depending on experience. Working Hours: a full time role is 40 hours per week, with core hours being 1000 - 1500 GMT (regardless of where you are based), and a flexible hours policy for the remaining time. We also welcome applicants from those wanting to work part-time, but we require 80% (32 hours) minimum. Location: you must be resident either in the UK or in Europe (max +2 hours GMT) Note: Contract and benefits will vary depending on which country you are based in - this will be discussed at an appropriate stage in the interview process.
