About The Role Reporting to the Global Senior Director of Growth Marketing, you will be responsible for scaling, evolving, and executing the daily operations of MUBI’s online SHOP (currently in the US & UK), transforming it into a key brand, loyalty, and revenue driver. You will own the initiative end-to-end, including product curation, merchandising, marketing, and operations, working closely with cross-functional teams to grow the shop and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will also play a key role in expanding the shop into new territories, ensuring it continues to engage film lovers worldwide and reflects MUBI’s style, quality, and taste. Key responsibilities include: Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with MUBI’s growth, brand, and international expansion goals. Manage daily operations, including product launches, pricing, and promotions. Collaborate with Brand, Partnerships, Home-Entertainment, and Creative teams to introduce exclusive merchandise, brand collaborations, and film-related products. Optimize the Shopify storefront for seamless navigation and user experience. Work with Product and Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of the SHOP within MUBI’s digital ecosystem. Oversee inventory management, demand forecasting, and fulfillment operations. Liaise with customer support to troubleshoot logistical issues and ensure a consistent customer experience. Implement data-driven strategies to improve revenue, conversion, and engagement. Track performance and analyze e-commerce KPIs such as sales, retention, and average order value. Coordinate with external vendors and partners to enhance shipping efficiency and reduce costs. Lead the international expansion of MUBI SHOP, adapting strategies for local markets. Leverage CRM tools to increase traffic and sales. Stay updated on e-commerce trends and bring innovative ideas to enhance offerings. What you will bring 5+ years experience in e-commerce, preferably in curated, design-forward, or arts-related brands (fashion, design, culture, etc.). Strong experience managing Shopify platforms. Excellent eye for design and cultural trends, with a talent for visual and brand storytelling. Experience in product curation, merchandising, and online retail strategy. Proven ability to collaborate with designers, artists, and brands for co-branded merchandise. Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing performance metrics and customer behavior. Skills in inventory, pricing, and supply chain management. Highly organized, proactive, with strong project management skills. Creative, entrepreneurial attitude with innovative thinking. Team player with collaborative spirit across departments. Passion for cinema, especially independent and international films.
