About the role

As Sales Manager at MUBI, you will be a critical part of our growing Film Sales team, sitting within the wider Content department. You will join an exciting team that is focused on delivering stellar films to a growing list of accounts around the world. You will report to the Sales Director, and will work externally with our global digital EST/TVOD accounts. The position works cross-functionally to ensure films are launched accurately and efficiently, and with strong on-platform visibility across EST/TVOD.

We work hybrid-remote where we require 3 office days in London, UK. Our core days are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, with the flexibility to use our beautiful offices on the remaining two days if you wish.

Where you will have impact:

  • Create and distribute monthly avails to external digital platforms (EST/TVOD)
  • Pitch and track ancillary platform promos and library opportunities
  • Perform platform audits on release days to ensure title accuracy
  • Collaborate with partners to secure premium store placement across a multi-territory footprint
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with key clients, maintain a thorough understanding of key partner programming needs
  • Create sales materials, one-pagers, email blasts, and reels for markets
  • Conduct and compile international research including, but not limited to: pricing, sales data, box office analysis, territory-specific industry trends, and competitive distribution landscape summaries
  • Liaise with Finance on monthly EST/TVOD reporting and revenue tracking
  • Maintain and update sales client database
  • Maintain a central database of screening activity

What you will bring:

  • 2-3 years of direct sales experience with EST/TVOD platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital distribution models (EST, TVOD, PVOD) and the full sales lifecycle.
  • A data-driven approach, with a knowledge of Rights Management systems
  • Meticulous organization skills, paying close attention to the details
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management and directly with clients
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Suite
  • A passion for film with a strong knowledge of media, entertainment and technology industries
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, and enjoy being a team player
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
