About the role
Our Creative team is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer with a genuine passion for film to join us at our London HQ. You'll work across print, digital, and motion, producing world‑class creative that supports one of the most distinctive film brands in the world. The nature of this role is hybrid, and will require office presence for three days per week in the London HQ.
Where you'll have impact:
- Work closely with the design team to develop and execute creative solutions to promote our curated film programming, including brand campaigns, social media assets, film key art, motion graphics for trailers, and more.
- Execute rollout and production work such as adapts, banners, social cards, key art templates reliably, on brief, and within deadline across a fast‑paced slate.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams at MUBI, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.
- Maintain brand consistency, precision and craft across all outputs.
- Contribute creative input during brainstorming and concept development sessions.
- Proactively explore new ideas for the visual language of the brand and stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies.
What you'll bring:
- A formal design education with 1–2 years of professional experience.
- Strong fundamentals across digital, print and motion with an evolving typographic sensitivity and eye for brand‑accurate execution.
- A contemporary design aesthetic and the confidence to bring ideas, respond to feedback, and iterate quickly.
- The ability to handle volume and thrive in a fast‑paced environment: you're comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, you hit your deadlines, and you surface blockers before they become problems.
- A collaborative, team‑first mindset - you work well with designers, marketers, and cross‑functional partners, and you're generous with feedback in both directions.
- A good understanding of graphics production techniques, including image manipulation, editing, and compositing across various media.
- A genuine passion for film and design, with a commitment to staying up to date with current design trends, tools, and technologies.
Proficiencies:
- Required: Professional proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Desirable: Intermediate level skills in After Effects and Figma.
- Desirable: Familiarity with scripting or plugin development (e.g. InDesign ExtendScript, Figma plugins).
