About the role

We are seeking a Midweight Graphic Designer with a passion for film who can work across disciplines including print, digital and video. We work hybrid-remote where we require 3 office days in London. Our core days are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, with the flexibility to use our offices on the remaining two days if you wish.

Where you’ll have impact

  • Work closely with Senior designers to develop and execute compelling creative solutions to promote our curated film programming, including brand campaigns, social media assets, film key art, motion graphics for trailers, and more;
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams at MUBI, while demonstrating the ability to work independently;
  • Maintain brand consistency across all creative outputs and ensure designs are aligned with project briefs and deadlines;
  • Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions;
  • Proactively explore new ideas for MUBI's visual brand identity.

What you’ll bring

  • You have a contemporary design aesthetic, proven conceptual and executional abilities, a track record in conceptualising and designing compelling experiences across digital, mobile, print and video;
  • You have working experience in motion graphics and art direction;
  • You are confident to express your opinions, but also highly collaborative and open to feedback;
  • You are a multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, comfortable managing multiple projects at once and effectively defining priorities;
  • You share our passion for films and design, and stay up-to-date with current design trends and industry standards. You are always interested in learning new tools and skills, understanding their potential to enhance your professional development;
  • Formal design education with at least 3 years professional experience;
  • Professional proficiency in Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects, ability to create assets for both digital and print mediums;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Good understanding of motion graphics;
  • Experience and knowledge with image manipulation, editing and compositing in all media is a plus!
