Talent Manager
Full-time, Fixed-Term position: 37.5 hours, 12-month maternity cover
Beeston, Nottingham: £48,535 – £51,090
Farringdon, London: £53,928 -£56,766
Hybrid position: 3 days per week office attendance
We’re looking for an experienced Talent Manager with a background in Learning & Development to implement our talent action plan and agenda on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a key role within the Learning & Organisational Development (L&OD) Team, responsible for identifying, developing, and retaining high performing colleagues, whilst shaping and delivering our early careers and apprenticeship programmes.
You’ll lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of our talent programmes where colleagues feel supported, inspired, and set up for success, alongside ensuring initiatives are aligned with business needs. You’ll utilise talent data and analytics to identify trends and insights to measure the impact of talent initiatives and provide data driven recommendations for enhancements.
You’ll manage and coach our Talent Coordinator and collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to build future ready capability across the business.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role – essential
- Comprehensive understanding of leadership and management theory, and delivery skills – essential
- Strong understanding of apprenticeship funding and compliance- essential
- Confident in both written, spoken, and digital communication with the ability to present to large audiences – essential
- Excellent project management skills and proven experience of delivering large scale projects – essential
- Strong communication skills and an ability to build and manage professional working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders across all levels – essential
- Budget management skills / experience – essential
- A good people manager with experience of developing individuals to reach their full potential – essential
- A degree and / or equivalent qualification in this field – desirable
- CIPD Level 5 – desirable
