Shape the future of specialist housing and MTVH. Our purpose is to ensure everyone has a home and the chance to live well. Our MTVH 2030 strategy sets our direction for the next five years, with clear priorities: Your Home, Your Service, Your Future. Underpinned by Fit for the Future, we’re strengthening accountable leadership and improving how we work so we deliver better outcomes and more impact per pound spent for residents and communities.
This is a pivotal opportunity to lead MTVH Support nationally, driving excellent supported housing, supported living, and support services, alongside a programme of investment in existing stock and the delivery of new supported housing. As a member of MTVH’s Senior Leadership Team, you’ll play a defining role in delivering MTVH 2030 for customers with specialist and additional support needs ensuring services are outcome‑focused, financially sustainable, and consistently high quality.
You’ll provide visible strategic and operational leadership across a national footprint, translating strategy into clear operational plans, raising performance and service quality, and driving continuous improvement in customer experience. You’ll hold senior accountability for regulatory compliance, contract performance and assurance across supported services, and act as MTVH’s named safeguarding lead, ensuring robust arrangements, clear escalation, and consistent practice.
You’ll also lead the financial sustainability and growth agenda, delivering value for money, improving performance against budget, and building a strong pipeline through partnerships, commissioning routes and sector networks.
Expect a high‑profile remit: leading investment in supported stock and new supply in a constrained funding environment; strengthening national and regional partnerships with commissioners, funders, and policymakers; and championing innovation in service models and design so homes and services are fit for the future. Above all, you’ll create an inclusive, high‑accountability culture aligned to MTVH’s refreshed values: Dare, Care, Collaborate and Own, with customers at the centre and measurable outcomes as the standard.
We’re looking for a senior leader who can combine sector credibility with pace and impact, bringing substantial experience in supported housing and support services (or a closely related regulated services context), strong safeguarding leadership, and the commercial and financial grip to deliver sustainable growth and value for money.
What we’re looking for:
- You’ll bring senior leadership experience in a complex environment, with deep credibility in supported housing and support services (or a closely related regulated services context).
- A strong track record of improving operational performance and customer outcomes across multi‑site services, including leading expertise in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and contract performance in a regulated operating environment.
- Strong safeguarding leadership, with the confidence and judgement to oversee high‑risk and vulnerable customer cases and provide clear assurance and financial capability, managing budgets, working with revenue/capital funding streams, and driving value for money and sustainability.
- Strategic leadership that aligns teams to organisational priorities and delivers joined‑up outcomes across functions.
Why this role, why now:
MTVH 2030 makes clear that everyone’s objectives should connect back to our strategy so that we collectively deliver better homes, better services and better futures, more impact per pound spent. This role is central to that ambition: improving outcomes for customers who rely on supported services, strengthening performance and assurance, and positioning MTVH Support for sustainable growth and long‑term impact.
How to apply:
Please submit your CV and a supporting statement outlining how you meet the requirements of the role. This senior position requires travel between offices. To meet our commitment to providing safe, high-quality services to our customers, we will complete a Standard background check with the Disclosure and Barring service, once an offer of employment is made. Closing date for applications is the 12th May 2026.
