This Role: Neighbourhood Manager known internally as Woking PFI Neighbourhood Manager Salary Range: £44,612 – £46,960 dependent upon experience Full Time Permanent Post based on 37.5hrs per week – Fully office based MTVH are recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Housing Manager to be employed on a full-time permanent office-based role, to lead on the delivery of an enhanced housing management service. This role manages a Neighbourhood Officer who in turn supports the Neighbourhood Manager in the delivery and monitoring of all housing management related services and delivery of KPI’s as directed by the Head of Service. This role involves working closely with residents, local partners, and internal teams to address community issues, improve housing services and enhance the quality of life for residents. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing management role that requires strong housing and property management expertise. What you\’ll need to succeed : Excellent leadership skills and significant experience & knowledge in the delivery of a housing management & repairs service. Excellent knowledge of the Regulator of Social Housing requirements upon housing providers Excellent knowledge of housing legislation across all tenues Excellent knowledge of tenant satisfaction measurement Understanding of PFI contracts Experience of working in housing in a tenure blind setting Experience of dealing with customers presenting with complex needs Experience of contract management and holding contractors to account Possess high levels of attention to detail and accuracy in writing and numeracy Experience of working with internal & external stakeholders Significant experience of budget management Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a varied and a very diverse & demanding workload Experience & skills to use IT systems to deliver innovative services and ensure customer interactions are captured accordingly Be an innovative self-starter who isn’t afraid of challenge Experience of managing & reporting on projects against agreed targets. Be willing to work flexible hours as required What you will be doing: Acting as the primary point of contact for residents within the neighbourhood. Managing and monitoring housing services, including tenancy management, estate inspections, and anti-social behaviour cases. Building strong relationships with residents, community groups, and local stakeholders to foster community engagement and empowerment. Coordinating with internal departments (repairs, lettings, income, compliance etc.) to ensure a seamless service delivery. Leading neighbourhood improvement initiatives and community development projects. Monitoring and reporting on neighbourhood performance indicators, including resident satisfaction and service outcomes. Responding to complaints and enquiries in a timely and professional manner. Ensuring compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and equality and diversity policies.
