Mobile Testing Solutions Ltd ("MTS") provides paper-based and digital examination services to a wide range of global clients across the UK and Ireland and also has an online language school specialising mainly in IELTS exam preparation courses. MTS is currently looking for a Pre-Test Exams Administrator.
Job Details:
- Full-Time (Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm, 35-hour working week)
- Salary: £23,200 to £29,500 p.a. including London weighting. Starting salary will depend on experience in the sector and similar role, with progression within the band based on demonstrated skills and performance.
- Role type: Fixed term (12 months), with high likelihood of making permanent after the first year
- Location: Office-based role at our Head Office at 65 Westcroft Square, London, W6 0TA.
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the UK

- Reporting To: Pre-Test Exams Manager
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure delivery of all scheduling and pre-test preparation processes for exams delivery
- Process test-taker applications or bookings, adding exam dates on systems
- Monitor test session capacities and update records to optimize seat allocation
- Order, track and distribute exams materials, equipment and stationery to test venues with accuracy and fully compliant with security standards, including arranging incoming and outgoing deliveries and couriers, and regular stock audits
- Ensure test-takers requiring Special Requirements (SR) (e.g. disability) are correctly accommodated in line with agreed policies for relevant exam boards and the venue’s specific set‑ups
- Communicate test day details, special requirements and minors’ details to venue staff and other MTS teams, ensuring all operational needs are met keeping accurate records at all times takers in line with MTS’s and Exam boards’ Safeguarding policies
- Collaborate with fellow Exams Administrators on secure packing and unpacking of test materials, ensuring compliance with exam security policies
- Handle financial transactions related to test bookings, ensuring correct processing and reporting of payments, supporting the Finance Team in invoicing and credit control related to exams bookings
- Occasionally act as test‑day staff at MTS venues, including travel to other cities if required (travel cost to other cities to be covered by MTS)
- Support incident reporting, resolving complaints and escalating where appropriate
- Comply fully with MTS’s GDPR and data protection policies and standards and Safeguarding (Children and Vulnerable People) policy
Person Specification:
- Diploma in Business Administration, or related field
- A minimum of 1-2 years in office administration role, or equivalent
- A minimum of 1-2 years of IELTS exams management or testing administration role, or equivalent (desirable)
- Experience within the education or examination sector (desirable)
- Confidence in dealing with a large network of casual zero‑hours exam staff
- Experience in handling and managing high security documents and materials
- Experience in invigilation of high‑stakes exams
- Good communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Customer Centric Can Do Attitude
- Excellent organisational and time management skill
- Excellent people management skills
- Fully IT literate
