Working for a well-established aerospace manufacturer, we’re recruiting for a number of Aerospace Stores Operatives to join a highly successful and long-established aerospace manufacturer in Denham. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants clear career progression in a clean, structured, and safety-focused environment. This role supports the production of critical aerospace components used in advanced and life-saving technology.
What’s on Offer for the Aerospace Stores Operative:
- Salary: £26,822 per annum
- Overtime: Paid at 1.5x
- Hours: Mon–Thurs: 08:00–17:00; Fri: 08:00–12:00; 37.5 hours per week
- Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays
- Christmas Shutdown: Paid time off until 5 January
- Pension: 9% employer contribution (private pension)

As an Aerospace Stores Operative, you’ll be responsible for ensuring parts and materials flow smoothly through the manufacturing process. This is a physically active role involving standing, manual handling, picking, and packing throughout the day. Key duties include:
- Picking, packing, and labelling aerospace parts accurately
- Working with high-value precision components
- Checking batch numbers, quantities, and part data using SAP
- Supporting goods-in, internal stores, and dispatch operations
- Carrying out visual quality checks and maintaining records
- Preparing materials for production and on-time delivery
- Using forklifts, pallet stackers, scissor lifts, and saws (full training provided)
What We’re Looking for in an Aerospace Stores Operative:
- Proven experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics role within manufacturing
- Backgrounds from aerospace, automotive, rail, defence, or precision engineering are highly desirable
- Comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet for long periods
- Confident handling tools, components, and materials
- Basic IT skills (SAP experience is a plus, not essential)
- Reliable with a stable employment history
- Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude
