MTS (Tank Cleaning) Ltd is one of Europe’s most technologically advanced and environmentally friendly road tank cleaning stations and is based in the heart of the Liverpool Dock area. With this in mind, we wish to appoint an additional Shunter / Washbay Operative at our Liverpool Facility on a permanent basis.

  • C+E licence required
  • Previous experience in a similar role, demonstrating commitment to the job, would be beneficial but not essential as full training provided

About The Role

We are looking for a Shunter / Washbay Operative to support our operations at the Liverpool Facility.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Shunt tanks to and from washbays / our local customer sites
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Internal and externally washing road tankers to a quality standard by following a pre-defined process
  • Daily, weekly and monthly checks performed and documented
  • Effluent treatment & wastewater management
  • Plant upkeep and defect reporting/closeout
  • Opening/closing the facility
  • Washbay & Yard housekeeping
  • Completing and issuing wash certificates to customers
