The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Aluminium Welder to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Dudley. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled welder to work on a permanent afternoon shift producing high-quality aluminium components within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out precision TIG welding on aluminium components
- Working from detailed engineering drawings and job specifications
- Preparing aluminium materials prior to welding, including cleaning and fettling
- Welding thin gauge aluminium to a high cosmetic and structural standard
- Inspecting finished welds to ensure they meet quality requirements
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Working to production targets and deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience TIG welding aluminium
- Ability to weld thin gauge aluminium to a high standard
- Competent reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and weld quality
- Experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team
Benefits
