Salary: £25,500 - £26,500

Role Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week | Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm | Fri: 8am-12pm

You’ll train alongside experts, gain hands‑on engineering experience, and develop specialist skills in a role that combines precision, teamwork, and real responsibility.

You will train to become competent in:

  • Preparation, inspection, and packing of drogues and parachutes using a variety of hand tools and machinery
  • Accurately interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Handling materials, goods, and components appropriately
  • Reporting dangerous practices or faulty equipment to supervision to ensure safe operations
  • Maintaining high safety standards in all activities
  • Undertaking housekeeping and cleaning duties to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment

Key Responsibilities for a trainee parachute packer:

  • Become competent in the preparation, inspection, and packing of parachutes and drogues
  • Work to exacting safety and quality standards
  • Support team operations in a fast‑paced engineering environment
  • Maintain organised workspaces and follow safety procedures

What we’re looking for is someone who is:

  • Used to manual work
