We are currently recruiting for an NDT Level 2 Technician to join a specialist Inspection team within a high-integrity aerospace manufacturing environment in Denham. This is a safety-critical role, ensuring the structural integrity and compliance of aerospace components through advanced non-destructive testing techniques. Your work will directly contribute to product safety and aircrew protection, making this an important and rewarding position within a respected aerospace engineering organisation. The Role
As an NDT Level 2 Technician, you will perform a variety of inspection and testing activities in accordance with technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out non-destructive testing inspections in line with approved procedures and technical specifications
- Assembling test items to engineering drawings and procedures to ensure accurate inspection results
- Performing radiographic inspection and monitoring shielding levels, or conducting DPI/MPI chemical testing where required
- Interpreting component drawings, inspection procedures, and ADRs
- Producing and maintaining NDT inspection documentation and records
- Maintaining Level 2 certification (PCN or NAS 410) in relevant methods
- Recording inspection activity and component status using SAP systems
- Completing work within allocated run times to support production schedules and on-time delivery
- Following all Health & Safety, regulatory, and quality procedures
Essential Requirements
- NDT Level 2 Certification (PCN or NAS 410) with current maintenance
- Experience in production manufacturing environments, ideally within aerospace or other regulated industries
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety and quality management systems
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Basic computer skills with experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
