We are currently recruiting an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join a well-established and growing manufacturing company in Feltham, West London. This is a permanent opportunity offering long-term stability, competitive pay, and excellent working conditions.
The Role
Working from engineering drawings, you will manufacture high-quality precision sheet metal components for a range of products. The successful candidate will be confident working independently and capable of producing work to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate CNC press brakes
- Manufacture precision sheet metal components from engineering drawings
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Work out flat pattern developments
- Bend and fold sheet metal to specification
- Work with aluminium and stainless steel
- Assemble products, including mechanical fittings
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and workmanship
- Work with minimal supervision
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker
- The ability to set and operate CNC press brakes
- Strong drawing interpretation skills
- Experience working out developments
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience working with aluminium and stainless steel
- TIG welding experience would be advantageous but is not essential
