CNC Machinist (Programmer, Setter & Operator) – Nights - Permanent Role
Location: Hayes, Middlesex
Salary: £20.00 - £23.00 per hour (including night shift allowance)
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00pm - 4:30am
Overtime: Friday nights available at 1.5x hourly rate
Benefits:
- £20.00 - £23.00 per hour including night shift allowance equivalent to around £43k to £50k per annum

About the Role:
We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our busy manufacturing team in Hayes. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Machinist who can programme, set and operate CNC milling and turning machines while maintaining high quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines
- Setting and operating CNC lathes
- Working with Haas machines and Fanuc controls
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Producing high-quality precision components
- Carrying out first-off inspections and quality checks
- Deburring and finishing machined components
- Performing routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Planning machine workloads to maximise production efficiency
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
Qualifications:
- Experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines
- Knowledge of Fanuc controls (Haas experience desirable)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of CNC programme code
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Engineering apprenticeship or City & Guilds qualification (desirable)
