We are recruiting for a licenced Aircraft Engineer B1 / B2 Licensed Engineer – AOG & Line Maintenance Near Stansted Airport.
Salary: £65k plus + Overtime

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated B1 and B2 Licensed Engineers to join our dynamic Engineering team at Stansted Airport. This is a key role supporting both line maintenance and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) operations, ensuring aircraft are returned to service safely, efficiently, and to the highest regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Certify line and AOG maintenance activities within scope of licence privileges
- Provide rapid response support for AOG events, including short-notice travel
- Ensure all maintenance is carried out in line with regulatory and company standards
- Act as a professional representative of the company to aircraft owners and customers
- Maintain high standards of communication during all deployments
- Support base maintenance operations when not deployed
- Take responsibility for AOG response equipment, tooling, and vehicle readiness
- Promote and comply with all safety, quality, and compliance procedures
Essential Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid, unrestricted EASA Part-66 B1 or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence
- B2 candidates must hold electrical systems privileges
- Recognised aircraft engineering apprenticeship
- Current or recent experience on relevant aircraft types
- Engine ground run approval (or ability to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and maintenance procedures (MOE compliance)
- Ability to remain current on required aircraft type ratings
