We are recruiting for a licenced Aircraft Engineer B1 / B2 Licensed Engineer – AOG & Line Maintenance Near Stansted Airport.

Salary: £65k plus + Overtime

Shift Pattern: 5, 5, 4, 5, 5, 4

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated B1 and B2 Licensed Engineers to join our dynamic Engineering team at Stansted Airport. This is a key role supporting both line maintenance and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) operations, ensuring aircraft are returned to service safely, efficiently, and to the highest regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Certify line and AOG maintenance activities within scope of licence privileges
  • Provide rapid response support for AOG events, including short-notice travel
  • Ensure all maintenance is carried out in line with regulatory and company standards
  • Act as a professional representative of the company to aircraft owners and customers
  • Maintain high standards of communication during all deployments
  • Support base maintenance operations when not deployed
  • Take responsibility for AOG response equipment, tooling, and vehicle readiness
  • Promote and comply with all safety, quality, and compliance procedures

Essential Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid, unrestricted EASA Part-66 B1 or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence
  • B2 candidates must hold electrical systems privileges
  • Recognised aircraft engineering apprenticeship
  • Current or recent experience on relevant aircraft types
  • Engine ground run approval (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and maintenance procedures (MOE compliance)
  • Ability to remain current on required aircraft type ratings
