We are currently recruiting for two experienced structural steel welders to join an established ongoing project in Feltham. This role offers consistent hours, the possibility of weekend shifts, and immediate starts for the right candidates.
Role Overview:
You will be welding structural steel staircases, carrying out fillet and butt welds to a high standard. All candidates will be required to pass a weld test, which will be arranged and booked in advance with our onsite welding inspector.
Scope of Works:
- Structural steel staircases
- Fillet and butt welding
- Working from engineering drawings
Requirements:
- Proven experience in structural steel welding
- Strong skills in fillet and butt welding
- Ability to pass a weld test on-site
- MMA 6G qualification with a valid certificate is highly desirable
- MIG/MAG experience also preferred
- Reliable and committed to ongoing, long-term work
A welder who is MMA 6G certified in addition to MIG/MAG experience will be a valuable asset to the team.
